My stay at the hotel turned out to be quite disappointing. While I appreciated the stunning lagoon view from my room and the potential of the location, the service left much to be desired. I encountered rude receptionists, which impacted my overall enjoyment. The dining experience was shockingly overpriced for what was offered, rendering the value for money questionable. While the beach area was clean and pleasant to relax by, I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on my experience.

My experience at the Sofitel Tahiti Maeva Beach Resort was disappointing, particularly after spending a week in beautiful Moorea. While the location is convenient, being close to the airport and a shopping center, the overall state of the hotel left much to be desired. The check-in process felt awkward, with indifferent staff, and the room conditions were unacceptable, from a musty smell to cockroaches in the bathroom. On a positive note, the beach was nearby, but I couldn't recommend it for swimming due to local advice. Overall, a good spot for a quick overnight, but I wouldn't suggest a longer stay.
